Try to listen to English as much as possible: people, TV, radio internet, etc. 2-Don't be afraid to make mistakes when speaking as mistakes are part of the learning process. Concentrate on communication.  3-Make the most of your opportunities to speak English: native speakers, Skype, specific forums, teachers... 4- Don't forget the other skills (reading and writing) as they area a great source of grammar and vocabulary. 5-Stick to simple structure if you are not confident enough. When speaking, it is easy to make mistakes. 6- Record yourself to listen to your voice speaking in English. It will help you assess your progress, particulary in terms of pronunciation. 7-Learn new structures and vocabulary and make a conscious effort to use them for the first time. 8-Ask your interlocutor to repeat or tell them you don´t understand. They will understand. 9-Learn from your mistakes and keep in mind that learning a new language is a life-long process.
